MacleodLaw PLLC automatically collects or tracks some or all of the following information from visitors to our website: the home server domain names, e-mail address, type of client computer, type of web browser and aggregate information on what pages visitors access. When a visitor performs a search on our search engine, we do not record information identifying the visitor or linking the visitor to the search performed, but we record limited information about each search request to calculate overall usage statistics and to solve technical problems with the service.

 

We will not share, rent, sell, or otherwise disclose to third parties any data collected by us, but we may use the information for our own marketing purposes, and for a statistical analysis of this website’s effectiveness.

WE DO NOT DISCLOSE ANY PERSONAL INFORMATION ABOUT OUR CLIENTS OR FORMER CLIENTS TO ANYONE, EXCEPT AS PERMITTED OR REQUIRED BY LAW, REGULATION OR ETHICAL RULES BY WHICH WE ARE BOUND.

 

We do not disclose any nonpublic personal information about current or former clients, except as expressly or impliedly authorized by those clients in the course of representation or as required or permitted by law, regulation or ethical requirements governing our conduct as lawyers. Our policy specifically means that, among other things, we protect the confidentiality of our clients’ Social Security numbers, prohibit unlawful disclosure of our clients’ Social Security numbers and limit access to our clients’ Social Security numbers in the same manner as we do all other nonpublic personal information.

 

Confidentiality and Security

We retain records relating to professional services that we provide so that we are better able to assist you with your professional needs and to comply with professional ethical guidelines or requirements of law. We safeguard the data, computer files and documents containing your personal information and destroy, erase or make unreadable such data, computer files and documents prior to disposal.  We maintain physical, electronic and procedural safeguards that we believe reasonably protect the confidentiality of personal information and prevent access to such information by unauthorized persons.
